Sad news today! Spotter / TRSI has left us too early…
Another 8-bit legend has left us. 💕 It’s very sad news, as another member of the C64 scene passed away on August 13, 2023. Spotter (Christian Press), a member and leader of the TRSI group, has passed away. How can we, in the 8-bit legends community, sum up a life in just a few sentences? I always find it difficult to find the right words. Even now, I am a bit speechless and struggling to describe a whole life and a friend to many in the C64 & Amiga scene, and, of course, well beyond the C64 scene—like his extended family, co-workers, and lifelong friends.
We wish much strength to his family, especially his children, in this difficult time. 😪 You will be missed by so many people, including me. Your smile captured me in a fraction of a second; you looked like such a nice and humble friend to be with. Damn, life can be so short and tragic. why god take all the best ppl in the world?? so unfair!
Spotter, thank you for everything you have done for the Commodore 64 scene!! My condolences go out to TRSI members and all his friends and colleagues. We promise to keep your legacy on our page forever, and we will never forget you. 💙💙💙
